Jesse Williams Counseling
....helping you move forward.
My role as the counselor is to partner with you and provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, unbiased ear as well as to utilize evidence based practices that can help you gain insights, make changes, and reach potentials within yourself.
I help individuals who are having challenges due to anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, life transitions, and those who are on any personal journey toward self-growth. Regardless of the challenges, the pain or confusion that you may be facing, I believe that you have the potential to grow, change, and heal.
More About My Approach:
First and foremost, I do not utilize a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. We all have unique backgrounds, ways of thinking, processing styles, and ways of being in the world. That said, the therapeutic process must be as unique as you.
I utilize various modalities including:
-person centered therapy
-CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy)
-solution focused therapy
-gestalt therapy andmindfulness techniques.
- feminist therapy principles
The objective of any of the therapeutic approaches that I may use is to help you to utilize the creative power within yourself to create the movement in your
life that you hope for. I view counseling as a dynamic, collaborative process aimed at exploration, awareness, integration, and healing.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, licensed to practice psychotherapy
in the state of New York. I received my Masters (MS) in Mental Health
Counseling in 2012 from The College at Brockport.
I offer individual counseling services for:
